Dharmakīrti before Yama

Narada (in dialogue context with Sanatkumara brothers)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse links spiritual progress to saṁskāra and association: birth in a Vaiṣṇava lineage supports devotion, and jātismaraṇa (memory of prior births) indicates ripened spiritual maturity and continuity of sādhana across lives.
It emphasizes that devotion to Viṣṇu is carried across births; being born among Viṣṇu-bhaktas strengthens bhakti through guidance, example, and inherited devotional culture.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, or Jyotiṣa) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is the importance of lineage, saṁskāra, and satsanga as supports for dharma and bhakti practice.
