Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada, within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that devotion is strengthened through nāma (invoking Vishnu’s sacred names) and disciplined worship, culminating in a night-vigil sustained by sacred listening, which keeps the mind absorbed in dharma and remembrance.
Bhakti is shown as practical: serve the Lord with upacāras while chanting/reciting His names (like Keśava), and deepen devotion through jāgaraṇa supported by Purāṇa-śravaṇa—continuous hearing and contemplation of divine deeds and teachings.
The emphasis is ritual procedure (upacāra-vidhi) and disciplined observance (vrata-style jāgaraṇa); while not a technical Vedāṅga lesson, it aligns with correct liturgical practice and recitation-based worship.
