Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It states that divine grace—specifically Lord Janārdana’s pleasure—becomes the root cause of both worldly well-being and posthumous happiness, and it also strengthens one’s tapas, meaning inner discipline and spiritual potency.
Bhakti is implied as the orientation that “pleases” Janārdana; when devotion aligns with dharma and reverent worship, the devotee gains peace in life, auspicious results after death, and deeper capacity for sustained spiritual practice.
The verse points to yajña as a Vedic mode of worship (yajña-liṅga), implying correct ritual performance governed by Kalpa (procedure) and supported by mantra-precision (Śikṣā) for those engaging in Vedic sacrificial practice.
