Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā
भगीरथ उवाच । अनुग्राह्योस्मि यदि ते वरदानान्महेश्वर । तदा गङ्गां प्रयच्छास्मत्पितॄणां मुक्तिहेतवे ॥ १०४ ॥
bhagīratha uvāca | anugrāhyosmi yadi te varadānānmaheśvara | tadā gaṅgāṃ prayacchāsmatpitṝṇāṃ muktihetave || 104 ||
ภคีรถะกล่าวว่า “โอ้มหาเทพมเหศวร หากข้าพเจ้าสมควรได้รับพระกรุณาและพรจากพระองค์ ขอโปรดประทานการเสด็จลงมาของพระคงคา เพื่อเป็นเหตุแห่งโมกษะแก่บรรพชนของข้าพเจ้าเถิด”
