कुर्वन्ति विदुषो यज्ञान्विष्णुप्रीणनकारणात् । स चेत्साक्षाद्धविर्भोगी मत्तः कोऽभ्यधिको भुवी ॥ ९७ ॥

kurvanti viduṣo yajñānviṣṇuprīṇanakāraṇāt | sa cetsākṣāddhavirbhogī mattaḥ ko'bhyadhiko bhuvī || 97 ||

บัณฑิตทั้งหลายประกอบยัญเพื่อให้พระวิษณุพอพระทัย หากพระองค์ทรงเป็นผู้เสวยเครื่องบูชา (หวิส) โดยตรงแล้ว ใครเล่าบนแผ่นดินจะยิ่งใหญ่กว่าพระองค์?
