dvibhāṭajodimāstasya paṃcamaikādaśāstribhāt | yannakṣatrodito jīvastannakṣatrākhyavatsaraḥ || 53 ||

Translation

ในวัฏจักรนั้น เดือนทั้งหลายถูกนับตามส่วนแบ่งแห่งนักษัตร—สอง ห้า สิบเอ็ด และสาม. ปีจะเรียกชื่อตามนักษัตรที่ดาวพฤหัสบดี (ชีวะ) ขึ้นปรากฏในนักษัตรนั้น।
