लंकोदयात्स्याद्वारादिस्तस्मादूर्ध्वमधोऽपिवा । देशांतरस्वचरार्द्धनाडीभिरपरे भवेत् ॥ १५९ ॥

Transliteration

laṃkodayātsyādvārādistasmādūrdhvamadho'pivā | deśāṃtarasvacarārddhanāḍībhirapare bhavet || 159 ||

Translation

อาศัยเวลาพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นที่ลังกา จึงกำหนดเวลา ณ ทวารกาและถิ่นอื่น ๆ—บางแห่งเร็วกว่า บางแห่งช้ากว่า. ในแดนอื่นให้คำนวณความต่างเป็นครึ่งนาฑี ตามความคลาดเคลื่อนแห่งลองจิจูดท้องถิ่น (สวจะระ)
