Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

केंद्राद्या हस्त सन्खेटैरदृष्टो मृत्युदस्तथा । षष्टेमेब्जेऽसदृष्टेसद्यो मृत्युः शुभेक्षिते ॥ १०५ ॥

keṃdrādyā hasta sankheṭairadṛṣṭo mṛtyudastathā | ṣaṣṭemebje'sadṛṣṭesadyo mṛtyuḥ śubhekṣite || 105 ||

หากตำแหน่งสำคัญเริ่มจากภพเคนทราไม่ถูก ‘มองเห็น’ คือไร้แง่มุม/การเกื้อหนุนอันเป็นมงคลตามการนับสัญลักษณ์มือแล้ว โยคนั้นย่อมเป็นผู้ให้ความตาย อีกทั้งเมื่อภพที่หกและที่สิบเอ็ดไร้แง่มุมก็หมายถึงความตายฉับพลัน แต่ถ้าได้รับแง่มุมอันเป็นศุภะ ผลย่อมเป็นมงคล।
