इष्टवगेकृतिश्चेष्टघनोष्टग्रौ च सौककौ । एषीस्यानामुभे व्यक्ते गणिते व्यक्तमेव च ॥ ३४ ॥

Transliteration

iṣṭavagekṛtiśceṣṭaghanoṣṭagrau ca saukakau | eṣīsyānāmubhe vyakte gaṇite vyaktameva ca || 34 ||

Translation

ยังทรงสอนไว้ถึงการจำแนกตามที่ประสงค์และการประกอบสร้างของมัน มาตราวัดแห่งการเคลื่อนไหวและความหนาแน่น กฎว่าด้วยริมฝีปากและลำคอ และคำสองประการคือ ‘เอษี’ และ ‘อีสยา’ ที่อธิบายให้ชัดเจน ในคณิตศาสตร์ก็แสดงไว้ชัดเฉพาะวิธี ‘วิยักตะ’ คือวิธีที่แจ่มแจ้งเท่านั้น
