It shows that Moksha-dharma teaching in the Narada Purana also preserves disciplined, precise methods of knowledge—training the mind in clarity and correct procedure, which supports dharmic living and steady contemplation.
While not directly a bhakti verse, it reflects the Purana’s broader method: orderly knowledge and right conduct (dharma) become supportive limbs for a devotee’s life, helping maintain integrity, accuracy, and responsibility in worldly dealings.
A gaṇita-style computational rule using parity (odd/even terms) and subtraction to determine a ‘root’ amount—an applied technical instruction aligned with the Purana’s transmission of practical sciences.
