FAQs

In its present form, the line reads like a damaged mnemonic enumeration (names/terms) rather than a clear teaching; its significance likely lies in cataloguing epithets or technical items within a mokṣa-dharma discussion, but the exact doctrinal point cannot be stated reliably without a verified reading.

This transmitted text does not explicitly present a bhakti instruction (such as nāma-smaraṇa, pūjā, or Viṣṇu-stuti). If the verse belongs to a list of divine epithets, it may support devotional recollection, but a dependable bhakti linkage requires a corrected śloka from a critical source.

The appearance of terms like Aṅgāraka (Mars) suggests an astrological/technical register (Jyotiṣa-vedāṅga), but the verse is too corrupt to extract a usable rule; it mainly highlights the need for careful textual collation when using Purāṇic verses for ritual or jyotiṣa application.
