chādyachādakamānārdhaṃ śaronaṃ grāhyavarjitam | tatsvacchannaṃ ca mānaikyārddhāṃśaṣaṣṭaṃ daśāhatam || 155 ||

จงเอาครึ่งหนึ่งของค่ามาตราของสิ่งที่จะถูกปกคลุมและของวัสดุปกคลุม แล้วตัดส่วนที่ไม่พึงรับออก จากค่าที่ปกคลุมอย่างถูกต้องนั้น จงเอาหนึ่งในหกสิบของค่ารวม แล้วคูณด้วยสิบ จึงเป็นผลลัพธ์
