Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 87

Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa

बुद्धिभक्षार्थयोः शब्दकर्मकाणां निजेच्छया । प्रयोज्य कर्मण्यन्येषां ण्यंतानां लादयो मताः ॥ ८७ ॥

buddhibhakṣārthayoḥ śabdakarmakāṇāṃ nijecchayā | prayojya karmaṇyanyeṣāṃ ṇyaṃtānāṃ lādayo matāḥ || 87 ||

ในกริยาที่มีความหมายว่า ‘ทำให้รู้’ หรือ ‘ทำให้กิน’ และในกริยาที่มีกรรมเป็น ‘ถ้อยคำ’ (śabda-karmaka) สามารถใช้รูปเหตุ (ṇyanta) ได้ตามความประสงค์ และสำหรับกริยาอื่น ๆ ด้วย เมื่อใช้รูปเหตุในความหมายว่าให้ผู้อื่นกระทำ ก็เข้าใจกันว่าปลายคำกริยาแบบ ‘ล’ เป็นต้น ย่อมใช้ได้
