ในที่นี้ได้กล่าวถึงความประพฤติและวิถีเลี้ยงชีพอันแตกต่างของวรรณะทั้งหลาย; และในปาทะที่หนึ่งได้ประกาศระเบียบวินัยและหน้าที่อันตั้งมั่นของพราหมณ์॥๑๔॥
