kartrā praṇītā maryādā sthitā saṃsāriṇāmiyam yo jāyate hi yadbījo janituḥ sa hyasārthakaḥ //

ขอบเขตแห่งความประพฤติ (มรฺยาทา) ที่ผู้สร้างสถาปนาไว้นี้ตั้งมั่นสำหรับสรรพสัตว์ผู้เวียนว่าย หาก ‘เมล็ด’ ที่ควรเกิดตามระเบียบกลับเกิดผิดไป การกระทำของผู้ให้กำเนิดย่อมเป็นหมัน (ไร้สาระ)
