Matsya Purana — The Pushkara Manifestation, Shloka 25

आत्मनः सदृशान्पुत्रान् असृजद्वै पितामहः विश्वे प्रजानां पतयो येभ्यो लोका विनिःसृताः //

ātmanaḥ sadṛśānputrān asṛjadvai pitāmahaḥ viśve prajānāṃ patayo yebhyo lokā viniḥsṛtāḥ //

ปิตามหะ (พรหมา) ได้สร้างบุตรผู้เสมอตน—คือเหล่าประชาปติ ผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งสรรพสัตว์ทั่วสากล; จากพวกเขา โลกทั้งหลายและหมู่ประชาจึงบังเกิดออกมา.
