Matsya Purana — Śrāddha Procedure: Types

पुराणवेत्ता धर्मज्ञः स्वाध्यायजपतत्परः शिवभक्तः पितृपरः सूर्यभक्तो ऽथ वैष्णवः //

purāṇavettā dharmajñaḥ svādhyāyajapatatparaḥ śivabhaktaḥ pitṛparaḥ sūryabhakto 'tha vaiṣṇavaḥ //

เขาเป็นผู้รู้ปุราณะและรู้ธรรมะ มุ่งมั่นในสวาธยายะและการสวดชปะ เป็นภักตะแห่งศิวะ ตั้งมั่นในพิธีบูชาบรรพชน เป็นภักตะแห่งสุริยะ—และยังเป็นไวษณพ (ผู้ภักดีต่อวิษณุ) ด้วย.
