Matsya Purana — Dynastic Genealogies: Paurava–Anu Lines
suvratasya tathāmbaṣṭhā kṛśasya vṛṣalā purī navasya navarāṣṭraṃ tu titikṣostu prajāṃ śṛṇu //
This verse does not discuss Pralaya; it catalogs dynastic-geographical associations—linking specific descendants with named peoples, cities, and regions.
Indirectly, it supports the Purāṇic model of righteous kingship by preserving lineage memory and territorial identity—tools used elsewhere in the Matsya Purana to ground dharma, succession, and governance in recognized dynasties and realms.
No Vāstu or ritual procedure is stated; the only civic term is purī (“city”), used as a toponymic marker rather than an architectural rule.
