*ऋषय ऊचुः कथं सूतात्मजः कर्णः कथमङ्गस्य चात्मजः एतद् इच्छामहे श्रोतुम् अत्यन्तकुशलो ह्य् असि //

Transliteration

*ṛṣaya ūcuḥ kathaṃ sūtātmajaḥ karṇaḥ kathamaṅgasya cātmajaḥ etad icchāmahe śrotum atyantakuśalo hy asi //

Translation

เหล่าฤๅษีกล่าวว่า “กรรณะเป็นบุตรของสารถี (สูตะ) ได้อย่างไร และเป็นบุตรของอังคะได้อย่างไร? พวกเราปรารถนาจะสดับเรื่องนี้ เพราะท่านชำนาญยิ่งในการเล่าเรื่อง”
