แท้จริงแล้ว บนแผ่นดินนี้ มิได้ทรงบัญญัติ ‘ทางแห่งกรรม’ สำหรับปุถุชนไว้ ณ ที่อื่น ดังนั้น ข้าแต่พราหมณ์ โปรดเล่าเรื่องภารตะแก่ข้าพเจ้าโดยพิสดารเถิด
