Adhyaya 47Brahma’s Awakening and the Ninefold Scheme of Creation

अबुद्धिपूर्वकस्तस्मात् प्रादुर्भूतस्तमोमयः ।

तमो मोहो महामोहस्तामिस्त्रो ह्यन्धसंज्ञितः ॥

tamo moho mahāmohas tāmistro hy andhasaṃjñitaḥ

จากท่านนั้น โดยมิได้ตั้งเจตนาโดยตรง ได้บังเกิดผลผลิตอันประกอบด้วยความมืด คือ ตมัส (Tamas), โมหะ (Moha), มหามोहะ (Mahāmoha), ตามิสระ (Tāmisra) และอันธะ (Andha—ความมืดบอด)
