भवेतत्कुर्वतो राज्यं गृहधर्मावलम्बिनः ।

दुःखायतनभूतो हि ममत्वालम्बनो गृही ॥

bhavettat kurvato rājyaṃ gṛhadharmāvalambinaḥ | duḥkhāyatanabhūto hi mamatvālambano gṛhī

ความทุกข์เช่นนี้ย่อมบังเกิดแก่ผู้ปกครองแว่นแคว้นโดยยึดติดในหน้าที่และความผูกพันแห่งคฤหัสถ์; เพราะชีวิตคฤหัสถ์ที่อาศัย ‘มมตวะ’ คือความเป็นของเรา แท้จริงแล้วเป็นที่ตั้งแห่งความโศก
