तथापराह्नः पूर्वाह्नात् पितॄणामतिरिच्यते ।

सम्पूज्य स्वागतेनैतानभ्युपेतान् गृहे द्विजान् ॥

tathāparāhnaḥ pūrvāhnāt pitṝṇāmatiricyate | saṃpūjya svāgatenaitānabhyupetān gṛhe dvijān ||

ฉันนั้น เวลาอันเป็นบ่ายย่อมเป็นที่โปรดปรานของบรรพชนยิ่งกว่าช่วงเช้า ครั้นให้เกียรติด้วยถ้อยคำต้อนรับโดยสมควรแล้ว พึงรับพราหมณ์ผู้มาถึงเข้าสู่เรือน
