Adhyaya 23Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati

तस्मादहं तथा यत्नं करिष्ये पुत्रकावितः ।

तपश्चर्यां समास्थाय यथैतत् साध्यतेऽचिरात् ॥

tasmād ahaṁ tathā yatnaṁ kariṣye putrakāv itaḥ | tapaś-caryāṁ samāsthāya yathaitat sādhyate 'cirāt ||

เพราะฉะนั้น โอ้บุตรทั้งหลาย ด้วยแรงเร้าจากพวกเจ้า เราจักเพียรพยายามดังนั้น; เริ่มบำเพ็ญตบะ เพื่อให้กิจนี้สำเร็จโดยไม่ชักช้า।
