अह्नश्चैव समुच्छेदादुच्छेदः सर्वकर्मणाम् ।

तदुच्छेदादनावृष्ट्या जगदुच्छेदमेष्यति ॥

ahnaś caiva samucchedād ucchedaḥ sarva-karmaṇām | tad-ucchedād anāvṛṣṭyā jagad-ucchedam eṣyati ||

แท้จริง เมื่อกลางวันถูกตัดขาด กิจการทั้งปวงย่อมถูกตัดขาด; และเพราะความหยุดชะงักนั้น เมื่อฝนขาดแคลน โลกย่อมดำเนินไปสู่ความพินาศ
