अवरोहणीं च सम्प्राप्य पूर्ववद्यान्ति मानवाः ।
एतत्ते सर्वमाख्यातं यथा जन्तुर्विपद्यते ।
अतः शृणुष्व विप्रर्षे यथा गर्भं प्रपद्यते ॥
avarohiṇīṃ ca samprāpya pūrvavad yānti mānavāḥ | etat te sarvam ākhyātaṃ yathā jantur vipadyate | ataḥ śṛṇuṣva viprarṣe yathā garbhaṃ prapadyate ||
เมื่อถึงหนทางแห่งการเสื่อมลง มนุษย์ย่อมดำเนินไปดังเดิม. ทั้งหมดนี้ได้กล่าวแก่ท่านแล้วว่า สัตว์ผู้มีชีวิตประสบความตกต่ำอย่างไร; บัดนี้ โอพราหมณ์ฤๅษี จงฟังว่าเขาเข้าสู่ครรภ์อย่างไร.
