Kṛpa–Arjuna Chariot Engagement
भीष्म उवाच आचार्य मध्ये तिष्ठ त्वमश्वत्थामा तु सव्यत: । कृप: शारद्वतो धीमान् पार्श्व॑ रक्षतु दक्षिणम्,भीष्मजी बोले--आचार्य! आप बीचमें खड़े हों, अश्वत्थामा वामभागकी रक्षा करें और शरद्वानके पुत्र बुद्धिमान् कृपाचार्य सेनाके दक्षिणभागकी रक्षा करें
bhīṣma uvāca | ācārya madhye tiṣṭha tvam aśvatthāmā tu savyataḥ | kṛpaḥ śāradvato dhīmān pārśvaṃ rakṣatu dakṣiṇam |
ภีษมะกล่าวว่า—“ท่านอาจารย์ จงยืนประจำกลางกระบวน อัศวัตถามาให้คุ้มกันปีกซ้าย ส่วนกฤปะผู้มีปัญญา บุตรแห่งศรทวัน จงพิทักษ์ปีกขวา”
