कृप-अर्जुन रथयुद्धम्

भीष्म उवाच अत्र या मामिका बुद्धि: श्रूयतां यदि रोचते । सर्वथा हि मया श्रेयो वक्तव्यं कुरुनन्दन,भीष्मने कहा--कुरुनन्दन! यदि तुम्हें जचे, तो इस विषयमें मेरी जो सलाह है, उसे सुनो। मैं सर्वया कल्याणकी ही बात कहूँगा

bhīṣma uvāca | atra yā māmakī buddhiḥ śrūyatāṃ yadi rocate | sarvathā hi mayā śreyo vaktavyaṃ kurunandana ||

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ความปีติแห่งวงศ์กุรุ หากเจ้ายินดี จงฟังคำปรึกษาของข้าในเรื่องนี้เถิด เพราะไม่ว่าอย่างไร ข้าจะกล่าวแต่สิ่งที่เป็นประโยชน์แท้จริงแก่เจ้า”
