Kṛpa–Arjuna Chariot Engagement
प्राप्तकाले तु प्राप्तव्यं नोत्सजेयुर्नरर्ष भा: । अपि वज्भूता गुप्तं तथावीर्या हि पाण्डवा:,नरश्रेष्ठ पाण्डव समय आनेपर अपने पाने योग्य भाग या हकको भी नहीं छोड़ सकते, भले ही वज्रधारी इन्द्र उस वस्तुकी रक्षा करते हों। पाण्डवोंका ऐसा ही पराक्रम है
prāptakāle tu prāptavyaṃ notsajeyur nararṣabhāḥ | api vajrabhūtā guptaṃ tathā vīryā hi pāṇḍavāḥ ||
ครั้นถึงกาลอันควร บุรุษผู้ประเสริฐย่อมไม่ละทิ้งสิ่งที่พึงได้โดยชอบธรรม แม้จะถูกพิทักษ์ดุจสายฟ้าวัชระของพระอินทร์ เขาก็ยังยึดเอาได้—เพราะเดชและปณิธานของเหล่าปาณฑพเป็นเช่นนั้น
