युधिछिर उवाच
The verse highlights responsible leadership and dharma in transition: after enduring hardship, the righteous aim to re-enter ordered civic life (the capital) while ensuring the immediate protection and dignity of those under their care—here, Draupadī—through decisive, compassionate action.
Yudhiṣṭhira addresses Arjuna, instructing him to lift and carry Draupadī, and declares that they are leaving the forest-life behind and will now reside in the capital, signaling a shift from exile-like conditions to a return toward royal settlement and public order.
