Śamī-vṛkṣe śastra-nidhāna and Entry into Virāṭa’s Capital (शमीवृक्षे शस्त्रनिधानम्)

धनुषोंके साथ-साथ पाण्डवोंने बड़े-बड़े एवं चमकीले खड़्ग, बहुमूल्य तूणीर, छुरेके समान तीखी धारवाले क्षुरधार और विपाठ नामक बाण भी रख दिये ।। वैशम्पायन उवाच अथान्वशासन्नकुल कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिर: । आरुह्मोमां शर्मीं वीर धनूंष्येतानि निक्षिप,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन्‌! तदनन्तर कुन्तीनन्दन युधिष्ठिरने नकुलको आज्ञा दी --वीर! तुम इस शमीपर चढ़कर ये धनुष आदि अस्त्र-शस्त्र रख दो”

vaiśampāyana uvāca | athānvāśāsan nakulaṃ kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | āruhyemāṃ śamīṃ vīra dhanuṃṣy etāni nikṣipa |

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—แล้วกุนตีบุตร ยุธิษฐิระ มีบัญชาแก่นกุลว่า “โอ้วีรบุรุษ จงขึ้นต้นชมีนี้ แล้ววางคันธนูและศาสตราวุธทั้งหลายไว้ที่นี่”
