Śamī-vṛkṣe śastra-nidhāna and Entry into Virāṭa’s Capital (शमीवृक्षे शस्त्रनिधानम्)

खडगांश्न दीप्तान्‌ दीर्घाश्न॒ कलापांश्व महाधनान्‌ | विपाठान क्षुरधारांश्व धनुर्भिनिदधु: सह

khaḍgāṃś ca dīptān dīrghāṃś ca kalāpāṃś ca mahādhanān | vipāṭān kṣuradhārāṃś ca dhanurbhir nidadhuḥ saha ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—พวกเขาวางอาวุธมากมายไว้พร้อมกับคันธนูทั้งหลาย—ดาบที่ส่องประกาย แลทูณีร์ยาว เครื่องศาสตราวุธอันใหญ่และมีค่ามาก และเครื่องมือคมกริบประหนึ่งคมมีดโกน คือกษุรธาระและอาวุธชื่อวิปาฏะ—แล้วเก็บซ่อนไว้อย่างรอบคอบเป็นส่วนหนึ่งแห่งการเตรียมการลับของตน
