धनूंषि च महाहाणि बाणांश्व रुचिरान्‌ बहून्‌ । आदाय प्रययौ वीर: स बृहन्नलसारथि:,तदनन्तर बहुत-से बहुमूल्य धनुष और सुन्दर बाण लेकर वीर उत्तर बृहन्नला सारथिके साथ युद्धके लिये प्रस्थित हुआ

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

dhanūṃṣi ca mahāhāṇi bāṇāṃś ca rucirān bahūn |

ādāya prayayau vīraḥ sa bṛhannalā-sārathiḥ |
