पदा मूर्थ्नि महाबाहु: प्राहरद्‌ विलपिष्यत: । तस्य जानुं ददौ भीमो जघ्ने चैनमरत्निना | स मोहमगमद्‌ राजा प्रहारवरपीडित:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | padā mūrdhni mahābāhuḥ prāharad vilapiṣyataḥ | tasya jānuṃ dadau bhīmo jaghne cainam aratninā | sa moham agamad rājā prahāravarapīḍitaḥ |

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า— เมื่อสุศรมาร่ำไห้คร่ำครวญอยู่ ภีมผู้มีแขนกำยำได้กระทืบศีรษะเขาด้วยเท้า แล้วกดเขาลงด้วยเข่าและซัดด้วยท่อนแขนอย่างแรง ครั้นถูกกระหน่ำด้วยแรงปะทะอันหนักหน่วง พระราชาสุศรมาก็สิ้นสติล้มลงด้วยความเจ็บปวดจากคมฤทธิ์แห่งการโจมตี
