द्रौपद्याः भीमसेन-प्रबोधनम्

Draupadī Awakens Bhīmasena

भर्तारमनुरुन्धन्त्य: क्लिश्यन्ते वीरपत्नय: । शुश्रूषया क्लिश्यमाना: पतिलोकं॑ जयन्त्युत,“पतिका अनुसरण करनेवाली वीरपत्नियाँ सब क्लेश चुपचाप सहन कर लेती हैं। जो पतिसेवापूर्वक क्लेश उठाती हैं, वे साध्वी देवियाँ पतिलोकपर विजय पा लेती हैं

bhartāram anurundhantyaḥ kliśyante vīrapatnyaḥ | śuśrūṣayā kliśyamānāḥ patilokaṃ jayanti uta |

Vaiśampāyana said: “The wives of heroes, devotedly following their husbands, silently endure hardship. Those virtuous women who bear suffering through faithful service to their husbands attain victory in the realm of their husbands (i.e., the blessed state won through wifely devotion).”
