Adhyāya 14: Sudēṣṇā Sends Sairandhrī to Kīcaka’s House (सुदेष्णा–सैरन्ध्री–कीचक संवादः)

इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत विराटपर्वके अन्तर्गत समयपालनपर्वमें जीयूतवधसम्बन्धी तेरहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,रूपमग्रयं तथा कान्ति: सौकुमार्यमनुत्तमम्‌ । कान्त्या विभाति वक्‍त्रं ते शशाड्क इव निर्मलम्‌ “तुम्हारा यह श्रेष्ठ और सुन्दर रूप, यह दिव्य कान्ति और यह सुकुमारता संसारमें सबसे उत्तम है और तुम्हारा निर्मल मुख तो अपनी छबिसे निष्कलंक चन्द्रमाकी भाँति शोभा पा रहा है

rūpam agryaṃ tathā kāntiḥ saukumāryam anuttamam | kāntyā vibhāti vaktraṃ te śaśāṅka iva nirmalam ||

“รูปโฉมของเจ้ายอดเยี่ยมยิ่ง—งดงาม เปล่งรัศมี และอ่อนละมุนหาที่เปรียบมิได้ พักตร์อันผุดผ่องของเจ้าส่องสว่างด้วยรัศมีของตนเอง ดุจจันทร์อันบริสุทธิ์ไร้มลทิน”
