Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 13 — Kīcaka’s Proposition and Draupadī’s Dharmic Refusal
अज्ञातं च विराटस्य विजित्य वसु धर्मराट् । भ्रातृभ्य: पुरुषव्याप्रो यथा सम्प्रयच्छति,'पुरुषसिंह धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर जूएमें धन जीतकर अपने भाइयोंको यथायोग्य बाँट देते थे।! इसका राजा विराटको भी पता नहीं लगता था
ajñātaṃ ca virāṭasya vijitya vasu dharmarāṭ | bhrātṛbhyaḥ puruṣavyāghro yathā samprayacchati |
ครั้นชนะทรัพย์สินแล้ว ธรรมราชยธิษฐิระ—พยัคฆ์ท่ามกลางมนุษย์—ก็แบ่งปันให้แก่พระอนุชาทั้งหลายตามควร โดยที่พระเจ้าวิราฏะมิได้ล่วงรู้เลย
