दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure
यावच्च मे धरिष्यन्ति प्राणा देहे शुचिस्मिते । तावत् त्वयि भविष्यामि सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते,“पवित्र मुसकानवाली देवि! मेरे इस शरीरमें जबतक प्राण रहेंगे, तबतक तुममें मेरा अनन्य अनुराग बना रहेगा, यह मैं तुमसे सच्ची प्रतिज्ञा करके कहता हूँ!
yāvac ca me dhariṣyanti prāṇā dehe śucismite | tāvat tvayi bhaviṣyāmi satyam etad bravīmi te ||
พรหทัศวะกล่าวว่า “โอ้ผู้มีรอยยิ้มอันบริสุทธิ์ ตราบใดที่ลมหายใจยังค้ำจุนกายนี้ของข้า ตราบนั้นข้าจะภักดีต่อท่านไม่แปรผัน ข้ากล่าวแก่ท่านโดยสัตย์จริง”
