प्रतीक्ष्म्माण: कालो न: समा राजंस्त्रयोदश | आयुषो<5पचयं कृत्वा मरणायोपनेष्यति,राजन! तेरह वर्षोतक हमें जिसकी प्रतीक्षा करनी है, वह काल हमारी आयुको क्षीण करके हम सबको मृत्युके निकट पहुँचा देगा
pratīkṣamāṇaḥ kālo naḥ samā rājaṁs trayodaśa | āyuṣo 'pacayaṁ kṛtvā maraṇāyopaneṣyati ||
ข้าแต่ราชัน! กาลเวลาแห่งสิบสามปีที่เราจำต้องรอคอยนั้น จะมิได้ผ่านไปโดยไร้ผล—มันจะค่อย ๆ กร่อนอายุของเรา และพาเราทุกคนเข้าใกล้ความตายยิ่งขึ้น
