अपत्यार्थे परं यत्नमकरोच्च विशेषत: । सा ददर्शाथ मज्जूषामुहामानां यदृच्छया,राधा पुत्रप्राप्तिके लिये विशेष यत्न करती रहती थी। दैवयोगसे उसीने गंगाजीके जलमें बहती हुई उस पिटारीको देखा

apatyārthe paraṁ yatnam akaroc ca viśeṣataḥ | sā dadarśātha majjūṣām ūhamānāṁ yadṛcchayā |

นางเพียรพยายามอย่างยิ่งยวดเพื่อให้ได้บุตร ครั้นแล้วด้วยอำนาจแห่งโชคชะตา นางบังเอิญเห็นหีบใบหนึ่งลอยไปตามสายน้ำ
