Shloka 8

यथोपजोष॑ राजेन्द्र द्विजातिप्रवरस्यथ सा | प्रीतिमुत्पादयामास कन्यारत्नमनिन्दिता,राजेन्द्र! उस अनिन्द्य कन्यारत्न कुन्तीने उन श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्यणको उनकी रुचिके अनुसार सेवा करके अत्यन्त प्रसन्न कर लिया

yathopajoṣa rājendra dvijāti-pravarasya tha sā | prītim utpādayāmāsa kanyāratnam aninditā ||

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า—ข้าแต่ราชันผู้ประเสริฐ นางกุนตี ผู้เป็นแก้วแห่งกุมารีอันไร้มลทิน ปรนนิบัติพราหมณ์ผู้เลิศนั้นตามความพอใจของท่าน จนบังเกิดความโปรดปรานและความพึงใจอย่างยิ่ง
