इन्द्रजित् कृतकर्मा च पित्रे कर्म तदा55त्मन: । निवेद्य पुनरागच्छत् त्वरया55जि शिर:प्रति,इन्द्रजितने उस दिन युद्धमें जो पराक्रम कर दिखाया था, अपने उस वीरोचित कर्मको पितासे बताकर वह पुनः युद्धके मुहानेकी ओर लौटने लगा
Indrajit kṛtakarmā ca pitre karma tadātmanaḥ | nivedya punarāgacchat tvarayājī śiraḥprati ||
มารกัณฑेयกล่าวว่า อินทรชิต ครั้นกระทำกิจของตนสำเร็จแล้ว ก็กราบทูลบิดาถึงวีรกรรมที่ได้แสดงในวันนั้น จากนั้นเขารีบรุดกลับไปยังแนวหน้าของสมรภูมิอีกครั้ง
