जुद्वत्यग्नौ हवि: क्षीरं मन्त्रवत् सुसमाहिता: । ब्राह्मणा वेदवेदाड़पारगा: सुदृढव्रता:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: juhvaty agnau haviḥ kṣīraṃ mantravat susamāhitāḥ | brāhmaṇā vedavedāṅgapāragāḥ sudṛḍhavratāḥ ||
ครั้นนั้น พราหมณ์ผู้เคร่งครัดในปฏิญาณ และเชี่ยวชาญทั้งพระเวทกับเวทางคะ ต่างตั้งจิตแน่วแน่ แล้วสวดมนตร์ตามพิธี ก่อนหย่อนเนยใสและข้าวน้ำนมเป็นเครื่องบูชาลงในไฟยัญอันลุกโชน
