The Deer’s Dream-Appeal and the Move to Kāmyaka
एतावद्धि मया शक्यं संदेष्ठूं वै वृकोदर । वैताने कर्मणि तते वर्तमाने च भारत,“भरतनन्दन वृकोदर! इस समय मेरा यह यज्ञकर्म चालू है; अतः ऐसी स्थितिमें मैं तुम्हें इतना ही संदेश दे सकता हूँ”
etāvaddhi mayā śakyaṃ sandeṣṭuṃ vai vṛkodara | vaitāne karmaṇi tate vartamāne ca bhārata ||
“โอ้ วฤโกทร! ข้าพเจ้าสามารถฝากสารได้เพียงเท่านี้; โอ้ ภารตะ บัดนี้พิธีบูชายัญตามเวท (ไวตานะ) กำลังดำเนินอยู่ จึงไม่อาจกล่าวได้มากกว่านี้”
