Kaurava Court Hears of the Pāṇḍavas’ Forest Hardship (वैचित्रवीर्यवंशीयस्य राज्ञः करुणाविचारः)

विनि:सृत्य ययौ वदल्िवग्यितो विधिवत्‌ प्रभु: । आगम्याहवनीयं वै तैर्द्धिजैर्मन्त्रतो हुतम्‌

viniḥsṛtya yayau vadalivagyito vidhivat prabhuḥ | āgamyāhavanīyaṃ vai tair dvijair mantrato hutam ||

มารกัณฑยะกล่าวว่า “ครั้นออกมาแล้ว องค์ผู้เป็นนายก็ดำเนินไปตามครรลองพิธี อันได้รับการชี้นำโดยถูกต้อง ครั้นถึงไฟอาหวนียะ ก็เห็นว่าพราหมณ์ผู้เกิดสองครั้งได้ถวายอาหุติลงในนั้นพร้อมด้วยมนตร์พระเวท”
