Kaurava Court Hears of the Pāṇḍavas’ Forest Hardship (वैचित्रवीर्यवंशीयस्य राज्ञः करुणाविचारः)
फ्ः स्य ब्रह्मोवाच मयैतच्चिन्तितं कार्य त्वया दानवसूदन । तथा स भविता गर्भो बलवानुरुविक्रम:,ब्रह्माजीने कहा--दानवसूदन! इस विषयमें तुमने जो विचार किया है वही मैंने भी सोचा है। वैसा होनेपर ही एक महान् पराक्रमी बलवान वीरका प्रादुर्भाव होगा
brahmovāca—mayaitac cintitaṃ kāryaṃ tvayā dānavasūdana | tathā sa bhavitā garbho balavān uruvikramaḥ ||
พระพรหมตรัสว่า “โอ้ผู้ปราบทานวะ แนวทางที่เจ้าคิดไว้ นั่นเองเราก็ได้ดำริไว้แล้ว หากกระทำตามนั้นจริง ก็จักบังเกิดครรภ์อันทรงพลัง แข็งแกร่ง และมีเดชานุภาพยิ่งใหญ่”
