आरण्यकपर्वणि अध्यायः २१६ — इन्द्र-स्कन्द-संमुखता वज्रप्रहारश्च
Indra approaches Skanda; vajra strike and the arising of Viśākha
अजानता कृतमिदं मयेत्यहमथाब्रुवम् क्षन्तुमहसि मे सर्वमिति चोक्तो मया मुनि:,मैंने साहस करके उन मुनीश्वरसे कहा--“भगवन्! अनजानमें मेरे द्वारा यह अपराध बन गया है। अतः आप यह सब क्षमा कर दें”
ajānatā kṛtam idaṃ mayeti aham athābruvam | kṣantum arhasi me sarvam iti cokto mayā muniḥ ||
แล้วข้าจึงรวบรวมความกล้ากล่าวว่า “สิ่งนี้ข้ากระทำลงไปโดยไม่รู้ตัว ขอท่านโปรดให้อภัยแก่ข้าทั้งหมดเถิด” ข้ากล่าววิงวอนต่อฤๅษีเช่นนั้น
