गोपुराट्टालकवतीं हर्म्यप्राकारशो भनाम्‌ । प्रविश्य नगरीं रम्यां विमानैर्बहुभिर्युताम्‌

gopurāṭṭālakavatīṁ harmyaprākāraśobhanām | praviśya nagarīṁ ramyāṁ vimānair bahubhir yutām ||

มารกัณฑยะกล่าวว่า: ครั้นเข้าไปในนครอันรื่นรมย์นั้น—ซึ่งประดับด้วยประตูเมืองสูงและหอคอยเฝ้าระวัง งามด้วยคฤหาสน์และกำแพงป้อม และเต็มไปด้วยวิมานมากมาย—(ข้าพเจ้าได้ประจักษ์ความโอ่อ่าตระการตา)
