एकपत्न्या यदुक्तो5सि गच्छ त्वं मिथिलामिति । जानाम्येतदहं सर्व यदर्थ त्वमिहागत:,उस पतिव्रता देवीने जो आपसे यह कहकर भेजा है कि “तुम मिथिलापुरीको जाओ।!' वह सब मैं जानता हूँ। आप जिस उद्देश्यसे यहाँ पधारे हैं, वह भी मुझे मालूम है
ekapatnyā yad ukto 'si gaccha tvaṃ mithilām iti | jānāmy etad ahaṃ sarvaṃ yad-arthaṃ tvam ihāgataḥ ||
พรานกล่าวว่า “ข้ารู้ทั้งหมดนั้น ข้ารู้ว่าภรรยาผู้ทรงความสัตย์ซื่อได้ส่งท่านมาพร้อมถ้อยคำว่า ‘จงไปยังมิถิลา’ และข้ายังรู้ด้วยว่าท่านมาที่นี่ด้วยเหตุประการใด”
