Dharma-vyādha’s Instruction on Śiṣṭācāra and Dharma
एतासां प्रजानां पालयिता यशस्वी सुररषीणामथ सम्मतो भृशम् । एतस्मात् पार्श्वात् पुरुषो जनिष्यति कपोतरोमेति च तस्य नाम,तुम्हारे इस दक्षिण पार्श्वस्नै एक पुत्र उत्पन्न होगा, जो इन प्रजाओंका पालक और यशस्वी होनेके साथ ही देवर्षियोंके अत्यन्त आदरका पात्र होगा। उसका नाम होगा, “कपोतरोमा”
etāsāṁ prajānāṁ pālayitā yaśasvī surarṣīṇām atha sammato bhṛśam | etasmāt pārśvāt puruṣo janiṣyati kapotarometi ca tasya nāma ||
นกพิราบกล่าวว่า “จากสีข้างของท่านจะบังเกิดโอรสผู้หนึ่ง เขาจะเป็นผู้พิทักษ์สรรพสัตว์เหล่านี้อันเลื่องชื่อ และเป็นที่เคารพยิ่งในหมู่ฤๅษีทิพย์. นามของเขาคือ ‘กโปตรมา’ (Kapotaromā).”
